DFW’s Local Professional Cabinet Painting Services Company
ATD can mask, prime, and paint most cabinets in 1 1/2 – 3 days. You could be enjoying a morning coffee in your new kitchen faster than you thought possible. We can help you give your home or business a new look.
For a fraction of the cost and time of replacing your cabinets, ATD can give your kitchen or bathroom cabinets a fresh, modern look. Professional cabinet painting by ATD can be done in days vs. months compared to replacement, and with far less dust and clean up.
When ATD painting is part of a larger kitchen remodel, we can repair walls and ceilings after countertops and lighting are changed. We also can exchange or add door and drawer pulls. In some instances, we can replace cabinet hinges.
ATD Offers the Following Cabinet Refinishing Services for Both Residential and Commercial Needs
Stain To Paint Cabinets
Stain to paint cabinets is the process of caulking seams, priming the previously stained wood, and then painting. ATD will mask off and spray kitchen cabinets, unless requested otherwise by customer, or under a unique circumstance. Spraying cabinets provides a smoother finish.
Stain To Stain Cabinets
With a little effort and a lot of skill, we can apply a stain on top of the existing stain. This allows a transition from a little dark to much darker. Also, we can modify the underlying tone of the cabinets using color correction techniques, for example, if there is a strong orange or yellow hue, we can help to minimize it. Currently, we do not re-stain existing cabinets lighter.
Stain Refresh Cabinets
A stain refresh restores your cabinets to their original beauty without the cost of a full refinishing. This process includes a light sanding, the application of a wiping stain, and a fresh coat of protective varnish. The stain helps blend in everyday scratches, scuffs, and other signs of wear that naturally occur over time, while the new coat of varnish seals in the color and provides a durable layer of protection. The result is cabinets that look refreshed, revitalized, and ready to last for years to come..
Faux Cabinets
Faux is French and means “Fake”, but fake in a stylish or elegant way. When something is fauxed by a painter, it is made to look like something it is not. Most often fauxing cabinets means to make them look aged or distressed in a stylish and elegant way. This requires painting cabinets, then applying one or more glazes along with various faux techniques.
